Progressive Dynamics Life-Air 1000 Hypothermic Therapy System

The temperature controller has 5 temperature settings 27 ° , 32 ° , 38 ° , and 43 ° Celsius (ambient 80 ° , 90 ° , 1 00 ° , and 110 °  Fahrenheit)  depending on the type of therapy  required.  During operation, ambient air is drawn into the heater through a HEPA filter certified to remove particulates down to .2 microns. This filtering prevents bacterial contaminants from being drawn into the system and discharged onto the patient. After filtration , the heated air is transferred to the disposable SOFT-FLEX Warming Cover through a flexible plastic hose. The patient side of the disposable cover consists of a non-woven material wit h hundreds of small holes to allow the filtered warm  air  to evenly flow over and around the patient ’s body.
