The rotors come in fixed angle or horizontal swinging head units.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMicro-hematocrit centrifuges will vary by brand and model. Some require manufacturer-specific microcapillary tubes. Some have built-in readers, like the Clay Adams Readacrit. Laboratory units generally run up to 24 samples at a time.   \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCombination centrifuges will save on counter space and provide micro-hematocrit as well as blood and urine in one unit. They have timers and speed controls based on the type of sample being spun down.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUsed blood bank centrifuges are available in refrigerated and non-refrigerated versions.
